The Malone University men's soccer team lost 3-0 on the road Saturday evening in an American Mideast Conference match at Cedarville University. The Yellow Jackets grabbed the early lead with a goal in the 15th minute of the match and then tacked on two more scores in the second half to pull away for the victory. The loss dropped the Pioneers' record to 2-7-0 overall and 0-2-0 in the AMC while Cedarville improved to 7-2-0 overall and 1-0-0 in the conference.

Both teams totaled five shots on goal over the course of the contest with the Yellow Jackets holding a slight 13-11 advantage in total shots.

Malone will look to bounce back on Tuesday as the squad returns to AMC play with a 7:00 p.m. match at Point Park (PA) University (6-1-0 overall, 1-0-0 AMC).
