Pioneers Top Notre Dame In Three Sets

Outside Hitter Lori Gale tallied five aces and three kills in the victory

The Malone University volleyball team registered a 25-18, 25-21, 25-18 win at home on Tuesday night in an American Mideast Conference match against Notre Dame (OH) College. With the three-set victory, the Pioneers' record improved to 21-3 overall and 5-1 in the AMC while the Falcons dropped to 1-21 overall and 0-5 in the conference.

Outside hitter Jennifer Gahagan led the way for Malone by tallying 12 kills, eight digs and two blocks (one solo). Middle hitter Lauren Townley added six kills and two block assists. Outside hitter Lori Gale posted three kills and five service aces. Middle hitter Hannah Haver also notched three kills with five digs while setter Jackie Schwamberger dished 23 assists, served three aces and scooped 11 digs.
