Deidre McKay begins her second season with the Malone women’s basketball coaching staff in 2019-20.
Before coming to Malone, McKay served as a graduate assistant for one season at Tiffin University under former Pioneer head coach Jason Mishler. McKay was a four-year starting guard for the Dragons, playing in 106 collegiate games. As a senior, she averaged 7.9 points, 3.6 assists, and 1.1 steals a game. McKay earned GLIAC All-Academic Excellence recognition three times in her career.
McKay graduated from Tiffin in 2016 with degree in Sports Management. She went on to earn her Master’s in Marketing from Tiffin in 2018.
A native of Washington Court House, Ohio, McKay played high school basketball at Miami Trace. She was named Special Mention All-Ohio as a senior.
