Hall, a senior from Phoenix, Arizona, tossed an 8-inning, complete-game shutout on Sunday to lead Malone to a 2-0 victory in its season opener against Brevard College. The 5'7 right-hander allowed just three base hits in the extra-inning win while fanning a career high eight batters.

Hall's performance marked the first shutout for a Pioneer pitcher since 2014 and the first shutout of more than six innings since 2012.
