Malone University Athletics

Holztrager, a shortstop from Hinckley, Ohio, went a combined 4-for-7 (.571) at the plate over the weekend during the Pioneers’ season-opening doubleheader at Trevecca Nazarene (TN) University.

The junior leadoff hitter clubbed a homer, a double and a pair of singles in the two games in Tennessee.  She also registered three RBI’s, scored a pair of runs and stole a base.

Malone returns to action this week with doubleheaders against West Liberty (WV) University and Point Park (PA) University.
