Jake Shoup enters his first season as the Head Coach for the Malone University women's basketball team in the 2026-27 season.
Shoup spent the past three seasons at the helm of the Norwayne Varsity Girls’ Basketball program. The Bobcats appeared in back-to-back Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) State Semifinals and were runners-up in the 2025 State Final. Norwayne won two regional titles, two district titles and the school’s first girls’ basketball conference title in the Wayne County Athletic League (WCAL) since 1986. Shoup was selected as the 2026 Ohio High School Basketball Coaches Association (OHSBCA) State Coach of the Year as well as the 2026 WCAL Coach of the Year and led the Bobcats to a 64-17 overall record in his tenure.
