Tom Mogus joined the Malone athletics coaching staff in 2011-12 as an assistant for the Pioneer men’s and women’s tennis teams. Tom, the father of current Malone men’s and women’s tennis head coach Brian Mogus, has nine years of coaching experience to his credit, having worked with USTA Team Tennis in addition to coaching club soccer and youth baseball and basketball.
Tom, an avid tennis player who taught Brian how to play at a young age, is currently employed as a Technical Operations Manager at Massillon Cable Television. Tom previously served in a leadership capacity with the youth groups at Canton’s Christian Tabernacle and The Chapel, located in Akron, Ohio. His prior experience also includes a period of service in the United States Air Force, during which time he was assigned to Presidential Security and Communications at the White House in Washington D.C.
