Junior Season (2024-25)
  • In Fall 2024 played 198 holes in 11 rounds
  • 5 birdies...68 pars...10.7 FW's (second on team)
  • 62 (36) and 30 (18) season low putts
Sophomore Season (2023-24)
  • Competed in 324 holes and 18 rounds which are both career highs
  • 13 birdies and 114 pars on the season…9.2 FW’s per round ranked 2nd on team…fewest putts for 18 and 36 was 32 and 67
  • Posted career best 77 at Eva Weiskopf Invitational at Wooster Country Club
Freshman Season (2022-23)
  • Played 234 holes…history made in 1st collegiate tourney at YSU making a hole-in-one on Par 3 #17 at Mill Creek…64 pars on the season…2nd on team with 8.5 FW’s per round…35.4 putts per round
High School
  • Porter played four years on the varsity golf team at Jackson High School under the guidance of long-time successful coach Teal Harvey. Sav lettered all four years as a Polar Bear and competed at the OHSAA Girls' Golf State Championships each year as well. 
  • During her high school career, Savanna earned Second Team All-Federal League honors, Honorable Mention All-County, and Second Team All-Northeast Ohio recognition. Porter's lengthy list of credentials including being tabbed as a rising star earning the NOPGA Player of the Year in 2016. 
  • Academically, Sav was a Dean's List student taking CCP classes at Stark State. She impressively earned a 3.6 GPA or higher all four years as a student-athlete. Porter was nominated for NSHSS, or the National Society of High School Scholars and was a two-year member of Spanish Club. Sav earned Academic All-Ohio honors as well for her outstanding efforts in the classroom and on the golf course.
