2019-20: During the indoor track and field season, Opoku competed mostly in the 60 meter hurdle event. Her season-best time came at the G-MAC Indoor Track and Field Championships with a time of 9.26 seconds and placed seventh in the conference championship final. She also ran a career-best time of 1:11.02 in the 400 meter run. The outdoor track and field season was cancelled due to the Coronavirus.
2018-19: Opoku ran the indoor portion of track & field her second year. Her season-best 60 meter dash was 8.18 and 60 meter hurdles was 9.13.
2017-18: Opoku competed in the 60 meter hurdles, 60 meter run and 200 meter run during the indoor track season. In the 60 meter hurdles, Opoku placed 4th at the G-MAC Indoor Championships, setting a new career mark with a time of 9.13 seconds. Her best time in the 60 meter run was 8.12 seconds at the Kent State Golden Flash Gala. She competed in the 200 meter run at the SPIRE Midwest Open with a time of 27.03 seconds. In the outdoor season, Opoku competed in the 200 meter run, 100 meter hurdles and was a part of a 4x100 meter relay team. She finished seventh in the 100 meter hurdles at the G-MAC Outdoor Championships with a time of 15.49 seconds. The 4x100 meter relay team finished seventh at the conference championship meet with a time of 50.63 seconds. She also had a best time of 26.62 in the 200 meter run at the Walsh Cavaliers Invitational.
