2019-20: Sallee competed in multiple sprint events for the Pioneers during the indoor track and field season. At the G-MAC Indoor Track and Field Championships, Sallee placed 15th in the 60 meter event with a time of 7.23 seconds. He won the 60 meter event earlier in the season at the Mount Union Wuske Invitational with a season-best time of 7.02 seconds. The outdoor track and field season was cancelled due to the Coronavirus.

2018-19: Desmond continued to run the 60 meter and 200 meter run for the Pioneers. Sallee won the 60 meter at the Youngstown invite and also clocked in a career-best time of 6.96 at the Kent-State Tune-up. Sallee placed 7th in the 60 meter at the G-MAC Indoor Track & Field Championships. Sallee contributed to the victory in the 4x100 meter relay race at the Walsh Invitational and while at the Jesse Owens Classic, Salle made a career-best time of 11.02 in the 100 meter dash. During the G-MAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships, Sallee helped the team reach second place in the 4x100 relays and claimed G-MAC All-Conference Second Team.

2017-18: Sallee competed in the 60 meter run, 200 meter run and on the 4x400 meter relay team for the Pioneers during the indoor track season. In the G-MAC Indoor Championships, Sallee placed 10th in the 60 meter run with a career best time of 7.11 seconds. He also placed 12th in the 200 meter run with a time of 23.19 seconds. The 4x400 meter relay team finished 7th at the event with a time of 3:30.83. At the G-MAC Outdoor Championships, Sallee competed in the 100 and 200 meter run events and on the 4x100 and 4x400 meter relay teams. He finished eighth in the 100 with a time of 15.24 seconds and 16th in the 200 with a time of 23.93 seconds. The 4x100 meter relay team placed second with a time of 42.49 seconds and the 4x400 meter relay team finished seventh with a time of 3:25.43. He set new career marks in the 100 (11.21 seconds) and 200 (22.77 seconds) over the course of the season.

2016-17: During the indoor season, Sallee won the 60 meter sprint and had a best time of 7.26 seconds at the Kent State Tune-Up. He also had a best time of 23.33 seconds in the 200 meter sprint. During the outdoor season, Sallee was a part of the 4x100 meter run team that placed 3rd at the G-MAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
