Courtney Armsey Headshot 2016

Courtney Armsey

2015-16 will mark Courtney Armsey's second year as a graduate assistant coach for the Pioneer track and field teams.  She recently wrapped up her accomplished Malone career as a short sprinter, hurdler and multi-event athlete and will continue working primarily with the hurdles and field events this year alongside head coach Mark McClure.

Armsey owns Malone's current indoor 55-meter and 60-meter hurdle marks while ranking second on the outdoor 100-meter hurdle performance list.  In addition, she also registered the third-highest point totals ever recorded at Malone for both the pentathon (3146) and the heptathlon (4338).

Armsey was named to the GLIAC All-Academic Team in both 2013 and 2014 while also earning Honorable Mention All-America honors.

A 2010 graduate of Jackson High School, Armsey was a state high school qualifier and holds the Polar Bear records for the 100-meter and 300-meter hurdles events.  Courtney earned her undergraduate degree in 2014 and will continue pursuing her master’s degree in School Counseling at Malone.
