Biography

2020 Fall: Junior fall was a breakout campaign for Woodward, qualifying for all 11 rounds and tying the second-lowest scoring average on the team with a 76.2... Set a new career-low with a 71 at the Malone-Glenmoor Invitational... Tied for 12th overall at Glenmoor with a 226 (75,80,71)... Shot a 227 at Findlay (76,77,74)... Scored four birdies at the Walsh Fall Classic where he finished at 156 (79,77)... Finished the fall season with a third round 73 at Tiffin.

2019-20: In his sophomore season, Woodward participated in nine rounds for the Pioneers with an average score of 81.2... Shot a 157 (76,81) in the season-opening Malone Fall Classic (9/6-7/19)... Placed third in the Mount Union Fall Invitational (9/21-22/19) with a score of 176 (74,72), including his career-low tying round of 72... Helped the Pioneer team place second in the Snowshoe Invitational hosted by Davis & Elkins College (9/29-30/19)... Took eight strokes off his first round score at the Motor City Invitational (10/13-14/19)... Finished the fall golf season with an 80 at the Phipps Memorial (10/21/19)... The spring golf season was cancelled due to the Coronavirus... Named G-MAC All-Academic Team

2018-19: Woodward averaged a 76.4 over five competitive rounds during his freshman campaign…Shot an even par round of 72 in his collegiate debut at the Malone Fall Classic (9/7/18)...Named G-MAC All-Academic 

Prior to Malone:  Woodward was a four-year member of the Indians' golf team.  He registered an average of 75.3 during his career and was a two-time First Team All-County selection. In 2017, Woodward was named to the Principals Athletic Conference First Team, the Northeast Ohio First Team and earned medalist honors at both the Division II Sectional Tournament and the Tillapaw Classic.  An Academic All-Ohio honoree, Woodward has compiled a 4.0 grade point average.  He is a four-time recipient of the Scholar Athlete Award and plans to major in Business Administration and Finance at Malone.
