2018: Bunnell appeared in three games as a backup quarterback…Completed 7-of-12 passes for 71 yards and a touchdown…Threw a 33-yard, fourth-quarter touchdown pass in the week two win over Lake Erie (9/8/18)…Went 6-of-7 for 38 yards and ran for 11 yards in the fourth quarter at Findlay (11/3/18)... Named G-MAC All-Academic Team

2017: Played in six games during his sophomore season, including four starts at quarterback…Completed 41-of-72 pass attempts (56.9%) for 530 yards and five touchdowns…Carried 56 times for 180 yards and a touchdown…Engineered two fourth-quarter scoring drives in his first significant playing time at Alderson Broaddus (10/7/2017), completing 5-of-6 passes for 89 yards while rushing seven times for 42 yards and his first collegiate touchdown...Threw for a season-high 217 yards and two scores and ran for a season-high 78 yards against Kentucky Wesleyan in his first collegiate start (10/14/17)

2016: Bunnell saw action in two games for the Pioneers...Completed 5-of-10 passes for 55 yards and an interception...Rushed seven times for 11 yards

Prior to Malone: Bunnell was named All-District Honorable Mention, All-Premier Athletics Conference, and All-Lake County. In addition to numerous player of the week honors, he was the offensive MVP and senior captain for the Rangers. Bunnell was a four-year Honor Roll student, a member of the Principal's List and the class president.
