2017: Howell played in all 10 games for the Pioneers, primarily on special teams…Made one start …Rushed twice for nine yards in Malone’s win over Lake Erie (10/21/17)…Recorded four special teams tackles on the season…Named the 2017 recipient of the Dick Gallagher Memorial Scholarship... G-MAC All-Academic Team

2016: Howell played in all nine games as a slotback and special teams contributor...Carried the ball seven times for four yards...Caught three passes for 11 yards...Registered four special teams tackles on the year...G-MAC All-Academic

2015: Howell played in eight games while making one start at running back in the final game vs. Northwood...Carried the ball 21 times for 57 yards...Caught one pass for 11 yards

Prior to Malone: Howell was a two- time letter-winner in football and one-year letter-winner in swimming at Hoover High School. He had over 500 yards rushing and six touchdowns in two seasons as a starter while playing running back, defensive end/outside linebacker, and kickoff returner. In the classroom, he was a member of the National Honor Society, Honor Roll and a three-time Academic Lettermen. Howell plans on pursuing a degree in English with a minor in Creative Writing at Malone.
