Jordan Scott begins his first season on the Pioneer coaching staff in 2014.
Scott, who will work primarily with the running backs this year, was a three-year starter at cornerback for Malone from 2008-2010. During his time in a Pioneer uniform, he compiled 73 career tackles with 5.0 tackles for loss, 13 passes defended, one forced fumble and four interceptions. In addition, Scott was honored with All-MSFA accolades in 2010 following a strong senior season in which he posted 30 tackles and three interceptions.
A native of Oakland, California, Scott lettered in football, basketball and baseball in high school before moving on to Santa Barbara City College where he competed in both football and basketball.
After graduating from Malone in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and Communications, Scott served as an assistant football and basketball coach at Alameda High School in Alameda, California.
