John Lane Jr. begins his first year as Malone’s defensive line coach while he pursues his master’s degree in Organizational Leadership. An All-Ohio running back at Toledo Start High School, John began his collegiate playing career by earning all-conference recognition at North Iowa Area Community College.
After a brief stay at Bowling Green State University, he transferred to Greenville (IL) College where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Sociology with an emphasis in Community Development and Urban Studies.
John previously coached running backs and defensive backs at Stadium High School in Tacoma, Washington during the Tigers’ 2007 campaign.
