Felix Calzada enters his second season with the Malone football program as a graduate assistant. Calzada, who previously served on the Pioneer swimming & diving and softball coaching staffs, will primarily work with the offense (assisting with receivers) this fall.
A 2001 graduate of the University of Washington, Calzada spent four years as the athletic director at Vancouver Christian High School in Vancouver, Washington before moving to Ohio in 2011. He also served as head coach in football, girls basketball and track & field while at Vancouver Christian.
He is currently pursuing a graduate degree at Malone in Education Counseling. He and his wife, Ann, and their two sons, Isaiah (5) and Alexander (1), reside in Jackson Township, Ohio.
