2016 marks Andrew Sinko's first year as the Pioneers' offensive line coach.
Sinko comes to Malone after most recently serving as an offensive assistant at Notre Dame College during the 2015 season. Prior to joining the NDC staff, Sinko spent one season as an assistant offensive line coach at Baldwin Wallace University.
Sinko appeared in 38 career games as an offensive lineman at Youngstown State University, starting nine games at right tackle and three at right guard. He was a part of the YSU team that defeated the University of Pittsburgh 31-17 in 2012. While at YSU, he was a two-time member of the Missouri Valley Football Conference Honor Roll and was a four-time recipient of the conference’s Offensive Lineman of the Week Award.
“Andrew was highly recommended by a number of well-respected coaches,” noted head coach Fred Thomas. “He will help add stability to our offensive line.”
Sinko graduated from Youngstown State in 2014 with a degree in Exercise Science.
