High School
- Twining ran both cross country and track & field at New London High School. He helped lead NLHS to a pair of Firelands Conference Championships in cross country and one in track & field
- Individually he was named All-Ohio in cross country in 2021, and First Team All-FCC in cross country four times. Between both sports Twining made a total of eight state meet appearances
