Prior to Malone 
McPherson of Claymont High Schhol arrives in Canton as an official OHSAA Division III State Cross Country Championships qualifier, where she competed on the sport's biggest stage. McPherson established a sharp cross country 5K personal record of 20:08.31 at the regional meet. On the track, her endurance profile is anchored by a competitive 3200-meter personal best of 12:35.51.
