Noah Schaub was promoted to the role of Men’s Cross Country and Distance Coach / Recruiting Coordinator in August of 2022.
He initially joined the Malone University distance coaching staff in the summer of 2021. That season Malone had two cross country runners earn Great Midwest Athletic Conference all-conference honors at the conference championship meet.
Prior to making the move to the coaching ranks, Schaub was an outstanding student-athlete for both the Pioneers and the Bowling Green State University Falcons.
At BGSU Schaub earned first team All-MAC honors twice by finishing third as a junior and second as a senior at the conference championship meet. He was also named a member of the NCAA Great Lakes All-Regional team as a senior. He earned the Falcon Medal of Honor Award for excellence in athletics, academics, leadership, and community service as a senior.
After earning an undergraduate degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Nutrition at BGSU, Schaub finished his athletic career at Malone by competing with the track & field team for two seasons.
Between indoor and outdoor track, he won a total of four Great Midwest Athletic Conference individual championships. Schaub was also named the 2021 G-MAC Track Athlete of the Year in both indoor and outdoor track. He was a 2021 NCAA Division II All-American after a fourth place finish in the 3,000 meter steeplechase.
Schaub graduated from Green High School in 2015 where he earned varsity letters in cross country, track and wrestling.
