What is required for me to become eligible to compete?
Below are the initial steps that you will need to take in order to be eligible to compete in intercollegiate athletics at Malone. If you have any questions about this process, please contact John Russell, Malone's Compliance Coordinator, at

1. Complete the registration process with the
NCAA Eligibility Center at the beginning of your junior year.

2. Ask your high school counselor to send your transcripts to the Eligibility Center at the end of your junior year
3. Check with your high school counselor and make sure that you are on track to graduate on time with your class and have the required amount of core courses.
Please Note: If you enroll in a Division II institution and want to participate in athletics or receive an athletic scholarship during your first year, you must meet a list of certain requirements.

4. Request final amateurism certification during your senior year (beginning April for fall enrollees and beginning October 1 for spring enrollees)
5. Ask your high school counselor to submit your final transcript with proof of graduation

Fill out an on-line admissions application (ideally by Thanksgiving of your senior year of high school) and begin the admittance process.
