Prior to Malone: Shingledecker attended Brookfield High School in Masury, Ohio and participated in golf, baseball and basketball as a Warrior. In golf, Shingledecker was the OHSAA State Runner-Up in 2018 and qualified for the state tournament every year from 2016-2019. Shingledecker was named First Team in the All American Conference (AAC) in 2017, 2018 and 2019 as well as First Team All-Northeast Ohio in 2019, Second Team All-Northeast Ohio in 2018 and Honorable Mention All-Northeast Ohio in 2017. In the classroom, Shingledecker was Academic All-Ohio, made the Dean's List in CCP classes at Youngstown State University, was involved in National Honor Society and on the Honor Roll.
Personal: Majoring in Cybersecurity with minors in both Business and Computer Science. Shingledecker is a member of the Dean's List.
