High School
- Baker was a two-time letterwinner for the New Philadelphia High School Quakers where she played for coaches Kevin Cornell and Brian Migoni... As a senior she was nominated for the Turscarawas County Best of Preps after earning Second Team All-Conference and Honorable Mention Eastern District distinction
- In addition to her golf career, Baker lettered in three seasons of high school softball, and earned letters for academics and guitar.

- Mackenze's family includes her mother Heather, step-dad Adam Shapaka, brother Carter, sisters Meara and Madison, and father Steve Hooper.
- She is majoring in Sports Management.
