2018: Slaughter played in all 10 games during an impressive freshman season…Transition into starting role in week four and started each of the final seven games at middle linebacker…Led the team with 82 total tackles and finished second on the team in solo tackles (38) and tackles for loss (6.5)…Added 1.5 sacks, a fumble recovery, and a pass breakup…Collected a season-high 14 tackles and 2.0 tackles for loss at Findlay (11/3/18)…Recorded 14 tackles and a solo sack in the season finale against Walsh (11/10/18)…Tallied eight tackles and a half sack and was credited with two quarterback hurries in the win at Millersville (10/20/18)

Prior to Malone: Slaughter was named Second Team All-Washington by USA Today as a junior at Lincoln Tacoma before transferring to national power Dematha Catholic as a senior. Named First Team All-Washington (D.C.) Catholic Athletic Conference (WCAC) in 2017.
