2014: Lawler played in seven games for the Pioneers… Tallied five tackles on the season… Had a season-high three tackles against Lake Erie College (10/25/14)… Recorded his first tackle as a Pioneer at Ohio Dominican University (9/6/14).

Prior To Malone: A key member of the 2013 Division II Loveland State Championship Team and a three-year letter winner for the Tigers, Lawler racked up the accolades in 2013. Perhaps his most impressive accolade was landing a spot on the First Team All-Ohio squad. He was also named the Southwest Ohio Defensive Player of the Year as well as the Eastern Cincinnati Conference (ECC) Defensive Player of the Year. Over the course of his career, Lawler was a two-time All-ECC selection as well as a two-time First Team All-District selection.
