2017:  Played in all 10 games as a senior in the Malone backfield and on special teams…Carried the ball 19 times for 45 yards…Caught six passes for 52 yards…Returned three kickoffs for 55 yards…Chosen as the David George Leadership Award winner…Named a semifinalist (one of just 30 in NCAA DII) for the National Football Foundation William V. Campbell Trophy...G-MAC All-Academic Team

2016-17 (Track): Zimmerly placed 5th in the shot put at the G-MAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships with a career-best throw of 13.57 meters. He also set a career mark in the discus, where he had a distance of 28.54 meters.

2016: Zimmerly played in all nine games primarily as a blocking back and special teams contributor...Rushed five times for 14 yards...Caught four passes for 23 yards...Returned three kickoffs for 33 yards...Registered eight special teams tackles...G-MAC All-Academic

2015: Zimmerly played in all ten games for the Pioneers, making six starts in the offensive backfield...Finished second on the team in both rushing attempts (89) and rushing yards (387)...Totaled four reception for 43 yards...Carried the ball 19 times for a season-high 78 yards in week five against Ashland (10/3/2015)..Tallied 10 rushes for 71 yards (7.1 yards per carry) in week six at Northern Michigan (10/10/2015)...Had seven carries for 75 yards (10.7 ypc), including a season-long 44-yard touchdown run in the Pioneers' opening drive at Lake Erie (10/24/15)...Ran the ball a season-high 21 times for 51 yards and added three catches for 30 yards in the season finale vs. Northwood (11/14/15)...Named to the GLIAC All-AcademicTeam

2014: Played in 10 games as a redshirt freshman...Recorded 14 total tackles...Named to the GLIAC All-Academic Team.

2013: Did not play (redshirt)

Prior to Malone: lettered four years in football and track and three years in wrestling…named an All-Ohio Defensive End and Running Back in addition to being voted All-District Player of the Year…helped guide his team to the Division IV State Title in 2011…an Academic All-Ohioan Jonathon plans on studying Pre-Dental at Malone…his brother Jake played on the Malone soccer team from 2009-2012.
