STUNT Signs 11 for 2026 Class

CANTON, Ohio – The Malone University STUNT program has released 11 new members of the squad for 2026. The Pioneers are entering their third season this spring after their first postseason berth in 2025.
 
The new student-athletes to the program include KyLeigh Gibb, Alyssa Walker, Maggie Tolley, Allison Smith, Julia Gartner, Natalie Jurovcik, Morgan French, Haylie Stuart, Emily Williams, Cecilia Herrington and Alexa Willey.
 
Gibb is a backer and tumbler from Louisville, Ohio where she was a cheerleader for the state champion Leopards in 2024-25. She has nine years of experience with cheer and two with STUNT and received her team's most improved award. Gibb is undecided on a major.
 
Walker attended Canton South High School and will be a backspot and tumbler for Malone. She was a varsity cheerleader for the Wildcats and was on the honor roll and the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS). She has five years of STUNT experience and plans on majoring in nursing.
 
Tolley is a base from Cloverleaf High School. She has four years of STUNT experience and ten years of cheerleading expertise. She plans to enter the Malone nursing program upon her arrival on campus.
 
Smith is a cheerleader from Rootstown High School that has four years of STUNT experience and ten years of cheerleading experience. She was named varsity MVP of her Rover cheer squad and was National Honor Society treasurer, received an honors diploma and graduated Summa Cum Laude. Along with being a base and flyer for the program, Smith will be enrolled in the education department with a focus in intervention specialist.
 
Gartner is a base and tumbler from Field High School. She was a state qualifier and graduated Summa Cum Laude with four academic athlete awards from Field. Gartner has 13 years of cheerleading experience and two years of work in STUNT. She plans to study zoology as a Pioneer.
 
Jurovcik was an attendee of Theodore Roosevelt High School and is going to be a backer for Malone. She brings four years of STUNT and seven years of cheerleading experience to the program. Jurovcik was team MVP and a scholar athlete for the Rough Riders, who placed second at the OASSA State Championship in 2025. She graduated Summa Cum Laude and was a member of NTHS and intends on studying primary education and becoming an intervention specialist with a minor in Spanish for service and professions.
 
French is from Sebring McKinley High School where she obtained two years of cheer and STUNT experience. She is a base that will be majoring in education and language arts when she arrives on campus.
 
Stuart got her cheerleading experience at Mogadore High School. She has 13 years of cheer expertise along with two years of STUNT and was named All-American at her cheer camp. Stuart was on the honor roll all four years of high school and will major in marketing and business administration at Malone.
 
Williams is a base and backspot from Plymouth High School in Canton, Michigan. She has vast experience in STUNT (six years), cheerleading (seven years) and tumbling (eight years). She is a four-time All-Star world champion from 2021-24 and will study biology.
 
Herrington is a backspot, base and tumbler from Wadsworth High School. She has nine years of experience in all-star, STUNT, cheerleading and tumbling and was a member of her school's NTHS. Herrington intends to major in zoology and wildlife rehabilitation as a Pioneer.
 
Willey is a graduate of Lake High School and the sister of former Malone softball player Tayler Willey. She is a base that has ten years of cheerleading experience for the Blue Streaks. Her plan is to major in nursing at Malone.
