GREENVILLE, S.C. – The NCCAA has announced the Scholar Team recipients for the winter and spring sports of 2024-25.
 
To be eligible for this award, NCCAA sport-sponsored teams need a minimum grade point average of 3.40 on a 4.00 scale for all combined student-athletes on the team. 46 Scholar Teams were recognized among 21 NCCAA institutions. 
 
Malone saw four programs receive the Scholar Team award, including women's indoor track & field, women's basketball, softball and women's outdoor track & field.
 
There were eight total NCCAA Scholar Teams for the Pioneers during last academic year with the women's cross country team, women's golf team, women's soccer team and volleyball team honored in the fall semester.
