GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Malone University STUNT team competed at Davenport University on Friday night and came up short in their second contest versus the Panthers by a score of 22-3. The Pioneers (3-6) were able to score points against the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) frontrunners, the most points of any conference team against Davenport (9-1) this season.
Malone scored one point in partner stunts but fell behind 4-1 through the first quarter. The Pioneers would do the same in quarter two, pyramids and tosses. The Panthers extended their lead in the third quarter with a sweep of the jumps and tumbling section to take a 12-2 lead into the fourth and final quarter. Malone tacked on an additional point in a 10-1 team routine section.

Malone will head to Hiram College for non-conference competition against the Terriers on Sunday, March 2 at 12:00 P.M.
