NOTRE DAME, Ind. – Play continued on Sunday morning at the Crossroads Rumble for the Malone University STUNT team. The Pioneers (2-4) went 1-1 on the day after splitting a doubleheader against Heidelberg University and Central Michigan University.
 
MALONE vs HEIDELBERG RECAP:
Malone claimed a 3-0 first half lead and continued to build upon it en route to their second win of the season. The Pioneers outscored the Student Princes 3-1 in the third quarter and 4-1 in the fourth quarter for the 10-2 victory.
 
MALONE vs CENTRAL MICHIGAN RECAP:
The Central Michigan Chippewas defeated the Pioneers by a score of 15-6 in the second of two Sunday contests. Malone was shut out in the first quarter 3-0, but scored in all other periods. The deficit was too much to overcome as Central Michigan increased their lead with an 8-4 fourth quarter score.
 
UP NEXT:
The Pioneers return to Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) action on Saturday, February 22 with a tri-match at Ursuline College. Malone will face the host Arrows as well as Tiffin University for the first time this season.
