Marta Jankowska Concludes Competition At NCAA Nationals

Jankowska registered a time of 2:07.70 in the 200 Fly Prelims

Malone University senior swimmer Marta Jankowska wrapped up her third and final day at the NCAA Division II Swimming & Diving National Championships in Indianapolis, Indiana on Friday by competing in the prelims of the 200-yard butterfly.

Jankowska clocked a time of 2:07.70 in the event which is the eighth-fastest 200 Butterfly mark in program history.

The senior concludes her outstanding Malone career as the program's record holder in six individual events and four relays.

"I think I speak for the entire Malone community when I say I'm very proud of Marta," said Pioneer head coach Russ Hunt. "Today was a wonderful, culminating, celebration of a remarkable career."
 
Jankowska, a native of Katowice, Poland, was the first athlete in program history to participate in the NCAA Division II Swimming & Diving Championships.
