Freshman Asia Harris (Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio) of the Malone University women's tennis team, was named NCCAA (National Christian College Athletic Association) Student Athlete of the Week after going 3-0 in both her singles and doubles matches that were played September 17-23.

On Wednesday, Harris helped Malone defeat the College of Wooster, winning her #1 singles match 6-2, 6-1 and her #3 doubles match 8-4. On Friday, facing Thiel College, she played both #1 singles and #1 doubles, winning her singles match 6-0, 6-0 and doubles match 8-3. Harris then topped off her fantastic weekend on Sunday, against Wittenberg University, winning her #1 singles match 6-7 (4-7), 6-4, 6-4 and #3 doubles match 8-3. Her stellar play on the court helped the team win all three of its matches and improve its overall record to 4-9 on the season.
