    Jim Kish, a 1992 Malone graduate (Physical Education), was a four-year letterman in basketball at the College. A 1984 graduate of Meadowbrook High School, Kish posted an outstanding two seasons of basketball and helped his team to 13-8 and 15-7 records for those two years. At Malone, Kish blossomed in all phases of the game and went on to become Malone’s second-leading all-time rebounder with 968 (only four Malone players have ever reached even 800 career rebounds). Kish also ranks 8th on Malone’s all-time scoring list with 1860 career points and is only one of three Pioneers currently in the school’s top 10 in both scoring and rebounding (Todd Rowe, Ryan Lent). Kish was a member of the 1989-90 Malone team which qualified for the NAIA national tournament. With Kish on the squad, Malone posted an outstanding 94-40 record over four seasons.
    Kish is currently a teacher with Jackson Local Schools. He and his wife, JoEllyn, reside in Massillon, Ohio.
