Rawlins, a 1981 Malone graduate, was a two-year track & field letterman and a one-year cross country letterman at Malone after transferring in from Lewis (IL) University. Rawlins was an NAIA All-American in cross country in 1980 and also earned NAIA All-American honors in outdoor track & field in 1981 in the marathon. In addition, he was a United States Olympic Trials qualifier and participant in the marathon that same year.
Rawlins is currently employed by American Matsushita Electric Co. in Troy, Ohio. He and his wife, Lauren, have two children, Christopher and Kevin, and reside in Tipp City, Ohio.
