Campbell, a 1983 Malone graduate (B.A. in Communication Arts), was a four-year letter winner in baseball. At Cincinnati Mt. Healthy High School, he played four years of both baseball and basketball and was voted All Hamilton County Conference in both sports.  At Malone, playing first base from 1980-83, he posted batting averages of .322 (FR), .348 (SO), .320 (JR) and .327 (SR) and averaged three home runs and 26 RBI's per season (37 RBI's as a sophomore). An All NAIA District 22 and All MOC selection as a senior, he held (at the time) the Malone career record for runs (115) and doubles (36). 

Campbell, who is an area service manager for Enterprise Fleet Services, resides in Richardson, Texas and has two daughters, Katelyn (8) and Carly (2).

NOTE: The current Malone record for runs in a career is 180, and the current Malone record for doubles in a career is 51.
