Granville LeCroix enters his first season as the offensive line coach at Malone University, bringing nine years of coaching experience with him to the position.
LeCroix spent the last seven years at Madison Academy in Huntsville, Alabama as the running game coordinator, offensive line coach, defensive line coach and head strength and conditioning coach. LeCroix helped transform Madison Academy from a losing football program (180-275-3) to a squad that posted an 82-14 record during his seven years as a coach. During his time at Madison Academy, the Mustangs won three consecutive State Championships from 2012 - 2014 and finished as the State Runner-Up in 2011. From 2012-2014, Madison Academy had the highest scoring offense in class 3A and LeCroix’s offensive line was consistently recognized as one of the best in the region (Huntsville Times).
Prior to Madison Academy, LeCroix spent two years at his alma matter, 6A Athens High School. He coached the tight ends and was the assistant offensive line coach. LeCroix helped Athens reach the state playoffs both seasons, including a trip to the Quarterfinals during his final year at the school.
As a player, LeCroix was a four-year letterman as a center at Alabama A&M University. From 1999 - 2002, he helped the Bulldogs win two Eastern Division titles. In 2011, LeCroix played one season at center for the Alabama Hammers in the IFL before tearing his ACL. He also played division two club level rugby with the Huntsville Rugby Club from 2004 - 2010.
LeCroix graduated from Alabama A&M University with a bachelor’s degree in General Social Science in Secondary Education.
LeCroix resides in Canton with his wife, Kristen, and three children, Bryson, Abigail, and Porter.
