Malone University Athletics

Men’s cross country runner Andrew Trusty has been named Malone University “Athlete of the Week” after the sophomore won the individual NCCAA national title last Saturday, completing the 8k course in a time of 25:00.16 and beating the next closest runner in the field by 10 seconds. Trusty’s first-place finish bested 280 runners from 39 different schools and was instrumental in the Malone University men’s cross country team’s overall second-place finish in the national event.
