McCue, a senior from Rocky River, Ohio, led the Pioneers to a pair of impressive road wins last week as the squad picked up a 78-65 victory at NCAA Division I Bowling Green State University on Wednesday and a 74-66 triumph in the 21st Annual Mayors’ Cup at rival Walsh University on Saturday.Â
In the exhibition win at BGSU, the 6'0" forward notched a game-high 24 points to go with seven rebounds, two steals and a blocked shot. She then tallied 21 points, nine rebounds and two blocks on Saturday to lead the Pioneers to their first Mayors’ Cup victory since the 2012-13 season.Â
McCue enters the week ranked 4th in the G-MAC in scoring (15.0 ppg), 2nd in rebounding (9.7 rpg), 3rd in steals (23), and 4th in blocks (16).
