Malone University Athletics

Hilty, a forward from Sterling, Ohio (Norwayne H.S.), led the Pioneers to a pair of huge victories last week.

The freshman scored twice on Tuesday as Malone clinched a Great Midwest Athletic Conference Postseason spot with a 3-1 triumph in its regular-season finale against Ursuline College.  Hilty then notched her third goal of the week and fifth score of the year on Saturday as the Pioneers picked up a 2-1 overtime triumph at Cedarville University in the quarterfinal round of the G-MAC Tournament.

Saturday's victory marked Malone's first postseason win since 2006 and propelled the Pioneers into Thursday's G-MAC Semifinal Round.
