Smith, a junior from Uniontown, Ohio (Lake H.S.), led the Pioneer women to a ninth-place overall finish at the All-Ohio Intercollegiate Championships on Friday.  Smith placed 40th overall among 295 competitors after clocking a personal-record time of 23:01.7 on the 6K course.

Among the NCAA Division II/NAIA institutions in the field, the Malone women finished runner-up to host Cedarville University and Smith notched the 11th-best time among athletes from NCAA Division II/NAIA teams.
