Troyer, a junior from Dover, Ohio (Garaway H.S.), led the Pioneer men's golf team to a fifth-place finish at the GLIAC Championship over the weekend, tying for first overall by carding an even-par 72 during Sunday's final round.

Troyer then prevailed over Grand Valley State University's Alex Scott on the first hole of a sudden-death playoff to become the first Pioneer men's golfer to capture medalist honors at the GLIAC Championship. 

The Individual GLIAC Title adds to an already remarkable season for Troyer as he has now won a total of six events since joining the team at the start of the fall campaign.
