Whitlatch, a senior starting pitcher from Sebring, Ohio (Sebring McKinley H.S.), helped the Pioneers complete a four-game sweep of Ohio Dominican University over the weekend.

The 6’5” southpaw improved to 4-0 on the season after tossing seven strong innings in Malone’s 6-1 victory on Friday.  Whitlatch allowed just four hits and no walks while striking out four in his second complete game of the season.

Whitlatch is currently tied for second in the GLIAC in wins while ranking fifth in both earned run average (2.91) and strikeouts (36).
