Parker, a senior point guard from Harvey, Illinois (Thornton H.S.), averaged 17.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game last week. The senior shot over 52% from the field and knocked down 13 of 17 free throws in the two games.

Parker hit the game-winning foul shot with just 0.6 remaining on the clock in the Pioneers’ thrilling 86-85 overtime victory at Wayne State on Thursday. Overall, Parker sank 12 of 15 foul shots against the Warriors and finished the evening with 18 points, seven rebounds and three assists. He wrapped up the week with 17 points, four rebounds and four assists in a home loss to the University of Findlay on Saturday.
Parker currently ranks sixth in the GLIAC with 84 assists on the season.
