Schaffter, a senior forward from Smithville, Ohio (Smithville H.S.), led the Pioneers to a 1-1 record in conference play last week by averaging 17 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game.

She notched a career-high 20 points to go with six rebounds on Thursday in Malone's thrilling 80-78 overtime victory against Lake Superior State University.  Schaffter then tallied 14 points, five rebounds and three assists in a loss to Northwood University on Saturday.
