Spotleson, a sophomore forward from Uniontown, Ohio (Lake H.S.), led the Pioneers to a 1-1 record in non-conference action last week by averaging 18.0 points and 8.5 rebounds per game while shooting 83.3% (15 of 18) from the field, including 57.1% (four of seven) from three-point range. He also drained both of his free throws, handed out three assists, grabbed two steals and blocked a shot.

The sophomore forward registered 15 points and seven boards in a 74-64 defeat to Ohio Christian University on Tuesday before hitting 9 of 10 field goals on Saturday on his way to a career-high 21 points in the Pioneers' 107-71 win over Silver Lake College.

Spotleson has now tallied double-doubles in three of Malone's first four regular-season games and is currently second in the GLIAC in rebounding with an average of 10.0 boards per contest.
