Malone University Athletics

Polatas, a senior from North Canton, Ohio (Hoover H.S.), was one of five Malone student-athletes to qualify for the NCAA Div. II Outdoor Track & Field National Championships in Allendale, Michigan last week.
 
In the national meet hosted by Grand Valley State University (MI), in the 10,000 meters, Polatas finished 14^th among 21 entrants in a time of 35:43.47.  Her time was just off her school-record mark of 35:20.76 that she set at the Mt. SAC Relays earlier this season.
