Costello, a junior from Canton (Canton South H.S.), posted a 2-0 record and a 0.00 ERA in two appearances on the mound last week.

The righthander surrendered just two unearned runs on five hits while striking out five over his 10 innings of work. 

Costello tossed a complete game in the Pioneers' 6-2 victory over Lake Erie College last Monday.  He then improved his record to 4-1 on the season on Saturday after registering three scoreless innings of relief in Malone's 10-0 triumph over Ohio Dominican University.
