Haraway, a freshman guard from Norwalk, Ohio, helped the Pioneers tally a 1-1 record in a pair of conference road games last week, averaging 17 points, four assists, three rebounds and 1.5 steals per contest.
Haraway registered 10 points and three assists in a loss at Ferris State State (MI) University on Thursday. He then led the Pioneers to a convincing 81-61 victory at Grand Valley State (MI) University on Saturday by tossing in a game-high 24 points to go with five rebounds, five assists and two steals. Â
Haraway connected on three of six three-pointers and 13 of 16 free throws on the week while making 47% of his shots from the field.
On the season, the true freshman point guard leads Malone in scoring (13.6), assists (2.6), steals (1.5) and minutes played per game (30.9).
