Haraway, a freshman from Norwalk, Ohio (Norwalk H.S.), tallied a season-high 31 points on Tuesday night to lead Malone to a convincing 95-72 home victory over Houghton (NY) College. The 6-1 point guard drilled all seven of his free throws and 11 of 17 shots from the floor during the victory, including two of four three-pointers.
He also grabbed three rebounds, handed out two assists and tallied a game-high six steals, helping the Pioneers establish a new single-game record with a total of 22 steals in the contest (breaking the 24-year-old record of 20 that was set during the 1990-91 season).
On the season, Haraway is averaging a team-best 18 points per game to go along with 2.8 assists, 2.3 rebounds and 2.3 steals per outing.
